Saving/Restoring Touch Surf database

EDIT: Submitted the script for Saving / Restoring Touch Surf database to the Homebrew Save / Restore Application, so keep watching the update from them to avoid below manual steps. Till the time, the Homebrew application is not updated please follow below given steps.

Manual Procedure:

The Touch Surf database is stored in a sub-folder of the /media/internal folder on your webOS device. The folder is called .app-storage, and you can access it directly in USB mode. You can copy the database to your PC, and then restore it to the new device as follows:

Connect your TouchPad to the PC in USB mode. The .app-storage subfolder is hidden by default, but you can use Windows Explorer’s “view hidden files and folders” feature to see it.  The database will be in a directory called:
file_.media.cryptofs.apps.usr.palm.applications.com.petzapps.touchsurf_0
In that directory will be a file with a name like:
0000000000000008.db
The actual numbers may vary, but there will be a .db file. That is your Touch Surf data. Copy that file to your PC.
Once the profile is restored by Palm, you can install Touch Surf (make sure it’s the same version that was on your old device). It will create a database in the same location (/media/internal/.app-storage/…
IMPORTANT: The new database may not have the same name. For instance instead of 0000000000000008.db, it might be 0000000000000022.db.
Rename the database from the OLD device to the database name that Touch Surf is using on the new device. Make sure the Touch Surf app is not running. Copy the renamed database onto the new device into the Touch Surf database directory:
file_.media.cryptofs.apps.usr.palm.applications.com.petzapps.touchsurf_0
When you next run Touch Surf, your old data should be restored.

Petro
